Those Su-huh-mmer Niiiiiihiiiights.....

So it's July... My Deviant skills have branched into the world of photography, though I am still very much a Photoshop amateur... I have yet to upload pics of my paintings onto DA (mostly because it's such a fluckin hassle... (For painting pics, see my MySpace at [link] lol)...

Anyway, life is generally good. I'm trying to get back to my original talent, which is writing, but it's been difficult... Writer's block is rampant. I'm going to keep trying though... In the words of Mark Cohen (in Jonathan Larson's masterpiece "RENT") "The opposite of war isn't peace, it's creation."

So I continue to create, hoping against hope that I'm not just another mediocre hack.

Hey.... I just found out that I have been featured in an article here on DA about tolerance and humanity. You can read it here. [link]

They used one of the images I took of a homeless man in Santa Monica [link] last year when M visited.

I have to say I feel pretty speechless right now.
